First Day in Tirol / Bavaria 4

That swirl of clouds above Mr D, that's the Zugspitze. The highest spot in Germany. I was told that the weather would be better on Sunday. :)

First Day in Tirol / Bavaria 3

Reutte has castles watching over it. This was an important town because of the trade routes between Germany and Italy.

First Day in Tirol/Bavaria 2

Looking north, here is a view of Reutte. It's a pleasant town and I'm glad to have read Rick Steve's guide. The staff at the hotel are great.

First day in Tirol/Bavaria 1

The day didn't start all that well. Mr D woke up with cold sweats and short of breath. His blood was low so I got him some orange juice from the breakfast buffet. Mrs Dullum and I went up to breakfast and had a nice meal. We fixed a plate for Mr Dullum. We may have pushed him a bit the day before with a lot of walking in Rothenburg. He slept until noon. In the mean time Mrs D and I went for a stroll in Reutte. We came across a charming scene of the local police instructing a first grade class how to cross the street at the busiest intersection in town. I wasn't the only one taking pictures.
